The suspense of waiting until the end of a sweepstakes to find out who won is quite exciting (just ask the participants of the Trident Stream Your Vibe Sweepstakes). However, sometimes it’s a good idea to have drawings THROUGHOUT the sweepstakes to keep folks interested. While this format certainty isn’t typical, it does make a cameo appearance every once in a while. For example, the recently released Mountain Dew Fishing Sweepstakes will be awarding a fishing gear package for all 14 weeks of its existence. In order to begin an entry, participants can go to online registration page and enter a date of birth and zip code.

- Runs for about 3 months from March 25th, 2019 through June 30th, 2019
- Residents of NY, FL, and RI aren’t allowed to join in on the fun (sorry folks)
- Participants can come back to make another entry each day (1 per day)
- Each of the fishing gear packages has an Approximate Retail Value of $94.92
Mountain Dew and the Great Outdoors is a perfect fit.While on the topic of the prizes, each includes a Plano tackle box, a collapsible bucket, a fishing hat, and a Rapala fishing tool kit. Additionally, most of the prizes have some sort of custom Mountain Dew logo attached (looks like they want people to know where it came from!).
By the way, participants who don’t feel like getting on the internet can enter via text message instead. In order to do so, participants must text “dewfishing” to 72727. Please note that a total of 4 text messages will be required to enter the sweepstakes this way (something to keep in mind for those who don’t have unlimited text messaging).
Finally, those who want to find out who own the prizes can send a request for the Winners List to PO Box 264, Elysian, MN 56028. Requests for the Winners List must be post-marked no later than August 31st, 2019.
